Another Ukraine-themed “parody” song

This is yet another song about the war in Ukraine.

“Kiss me goodbye and write me while I’m gone”
“Goodbye my Svetochka, hello Donbass!”

“Ukraine has heard the bugle call”
“And you know, it involves us, one and all”
“I don’t suppose that this war will ever end!”
“There’s fighting that will break us up again.”

“Goodbye my Svetochka, hello Donbass!”
“Out here to take a battle to be won”
“Kiss me goodbye and write me while I’m gone”
“Goodbye my Svetochka, hello Donbass!”

“A BTR is waiting for us at the barracks”
“Donbass has trouble to be stopped”
“We must stop aggression in that land”
“Or we’ll be Russian slaves again!”

“Goodbye my Svetochka, hello Donbass!”
“I hope and pray someday, the world will learn,
that fires we don’t put out, will burn bigger”

“We must save Ukraine at any cost!”
“Or someday, our own freedoms will be lost!”

This is a song about the war in Ukraine that has developed there, recently, from Johnny Wright’s song, featured in the movie “Full Metal Jacket” about the recent war over there in Ukraine.
I just pray that an end to this war shall come!

It shouldn’t matter if Ukrainians are all neo-Nazis or not! Those folks are all assholes and you can’t really do anything about them, the neo-Nazis anyway. But what about Putin’s fascistic policies towards Ukraine?

World War II has long passed into history, however, Vladimir Putin has invoked it to smear a whole nation that stood up to bullying and coercion by its powerful eastern neighbor.

Oh and about that Wikipedia article about the Chetniks and Draza Mihailovic. The article was stating that it was a “fiction” that Mihailovic believed that the Russians were on his side. I think that he actually believed that individual anti-communist and pro-Tsarist Russians in Yugoslavia and throughout the world were on his side and there was mentioning about Pan-Slavic solidarity between the Serbs and the Russians.

The current Soviet government was not on his side, but he probably hoped and prayed that Russia would change for the better and help them out, but not the government. Of course, the Soviets favored Tito because he was their main man over in Yugoslavia. Tito was a commie like them.

Is this really about “Nazi collaborators?” What about pro-Western collaborators? What about Ukrainians who want their country to be great again with Western help? Are they “Nazis” too? I think that if there was an option to collaborate with France, United Kingdom, and the United States, they would have, but Nazi Germany was all that there was to fight Stalin and the Soviets. They just saw the Nazis as the “lesser” of the two evils, but the “Fascists” had horrible designs for them, too. Oh yes, I am fully aware of the delusional Russian propaganda that equates the US and NATO powers with the Nazis. But tell me, “Who are the REAL Nazis?” You have Russian artillery guns shelling populated areas and then RT has the gall to blame in on the Ukrainians!

I have a new name for Russia Today. “Russia Yesterday” because it’s not today’s world, contrary to what they would have you believe, in our current year of 2019. It’s just yet more 1960’s Cold War propaganda, invoked by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to “justify” his war of naked and cold aggression against Ukraine. Not saying that the Ukrainian army doesn’t shell its own citizens, but you have pro-Russian insurgents that are hiding among the populace and killing Ukrainian soldiers in Donbass, as well as Russian army regulars.

Sabaton “Aces in Exile”

Why couldn’t Ukrainians escape to the United Kingdom to fight the Germans? I think that many back in World War II knew that the alliance with the Soviet Union against Nazi Germany would not last long. The Soviets had horrific designs for Eastern Europe after the war. If only Ukrainians didn’t have to collaborate with Adolf Hitler just to gain their freedom! Why do you think Stepan Bandera ended up in a concentration camp? The friendship did not last long. Many people in the Western Allies’ camp hated having to be “friends” with the Soviets against Nazi Germany! The British and US governments had to make excuses to accommodate their Soviet friends, who later backstabbed them!
