I know that many people out there have written about and have extensively documented religious persecution of non-Muslims in the Middle East and the various beheadings by ISIS and other groups of non-Muslims because they do not practice Islam and they did not wish to rescind their Christian faith and they were beheaded by ISIS.
Stuff like this goes on every day in the Middle East without a word about it in the liberal media. It’s time that someone petitioned the governments of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Syria, Egypt, Libya, and Kuwait to allow non-Muslims to freely practice their religions over there and to allow them to build churches, synagogues and other worship centers to allow them to freely practice their religions openly and without fear of persecution.
CBN and Pat Robertson and Robert Spencer have talked about this extensively, however nothing has been done about it. No one has petitioned these governments to end persecution and bigotry against non-Muslims. No one has actually taken action to fight against it. No one has had the courage to stand up for human rights in Saudi Arabia in the West. Or have they and I just do not know about it? In countries like Iraq and Syria, Shiite Muslims and other religions that ISIS does not like, have been attacked by them. In Lebanon, non-Muslim Christians were persecuted for decades and are still being persecuted for being non-Muslim. Islam itself does not allow for people to openly practice their faith if they are not Muslims or not people of the book. (the Quran)
People in the West have condemned it, but our cowardly leaders have done nothing about it. They continue to court these governments as friends against ISIS. They overlook the persecution of non-Muslims in these places and the fact that they are terrorized for practicing their faith every day. People are intimidated and terrorized by laws that make Islam the only religion over there. Muslims persecute non-Muslims every day over there and people do not do anything about it. The media complains about the non-exist persecution of Muslims in the West, while doing nothing about the persecution of non-Muslims in the Middle East. People are being persecuted for practicing their non-Muslim faith over there.
People are not being allowed to renovate and build new churches and synagogues and other houses of worship over there. People over there are forbidden from building them by these governments, while Saudi-funded religious organizations are allowed to build mosques in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. It is a sad state of affairs that people will not stand up against the injustices of persecution of non-Muslims because of their faith. Muslims need to respect other religions. Rock music needs to be allowed in Saudi Arabia and Iran. Western values need to be championed over there. Religious freedom for all people over there needs to be fought for. Non-Muslims need to fight against ISIS and the Islamic fundamentalist governments and organizations throughout the Middle East that are persecuting them. However, it’s not just the Middle East. Non-Muslims are being persecuted in places like Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh as well.
People have written blog posts about it, but have done largely nothing against it. I want my blog post to be translated into Urdu, Arabic, Pashto, Persian, (and yes), Turkish for their governments to allow greater religious freedom for non-Muslims and to force the government of Turkey to admit to the Armenian Genocide of 1915, that it committed against the Armenian population of the Ottoman Empire, exactly 100 years ago. Today, 100 years later, non-Muslims are being persecuted throughout the Middle East and South Asia and nothing is being done about it. Instead of just talking about it, how about we take action?
The time for action IS NOW! SPEAK NOW AND STOP RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION OF NON-MUSLIMS THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND SOUTH ASIA!
Something needs to be done and DONE NOW! DO NOT HESITATE TO PETITION THESE GOVERNMENTS! Standing up for human rights should be something that everyone does, not just Amnesty International. Human rights need to be respected in the Middle East. We cannot let people be persecuted because of their religion any longer. Take action against it today!
